Babies & Children
Babies & kiddos...the best photographic subjects in the world. Why? Well, other than the obvious cuteness factor; they are innocent. They just aren't all that concerned about their bad hair day, double chins, or greens in their teeth (or nose for that matter). In front of the lens they smile, grump, shy away, laugh, you name it. No matter what their mood, their reactions are natural and life is fun. My goal in these sessions is to capture that nuance - that moment - that you want to eat up and never say goodnight to...and I want to do it beautifully.
Seniors & Teens
Say cheese! No wait. Don't say cheese. Save that for a photobooth. Nothing should be cheesy about senior portraits. I remember my senior portraits. I can't escape them; awkward head tilt and chin ever so slightly resting on fist. Why would that be awkward? Oh I know...maybe because there wasn't a day in my teenage life that that pose ever happened other than "picture day". We're layed back. We want to get to know the senior and we want to give them photographs that they'll be proud to see on their parents' walls when they visit from college on breaks.
Families & Lifestyle
Just like seniors, children and babies...we want an easy breezy, fun experience for you and your family. Trust me, I know family picture time has never been something the family really looks forward to. I'm not even going to claim that I've got some magic trick to make you really look forward to it. Every family is different: large/small, love/hate, young/old. The common thread of course, is that all families are families. Your family photos are part of your legacy. I encourage laid back family portrait sessions. Have fun, embrace the people you have and know that while you "can't believe that aunt Betty wore that" your childrens' childrens' childrens' children won't mind it one bit!

What Are Your Prices?
Sessions start at $250. This covers my time and materials. This also includes the pre-session consultation.
What's The Pre-Session Consultation?
This is where we meet and discuss your specific needs and desires for your photos. It gives me a chance to get to know you and your style, so I can recommend the best setting and help to plan ahead for your final wall portrait or collection. This planning session will help you know what to expect at the time of our session, and it will give me the opportunity to take photos that fit your own custom needs.

Tip
Art for your home is not a one size fits all type of purchase. When we meet to plan your session, we’ll talk about what kind of print or product you’re looking for. I usually recommend large framed photographic prints or canvas gallery wraps for eye-catching displays of your custom portraits, but there are many options ranging from greeting cards to albums. Gallery wraps start at $250. Please get in touch for all options.
