Ben Leaves Us

Last night we went out with Ben S. for his last night in town. He got a job back in Columbia. I hate to see him go, but I’m glad he’ll be back with his family and won’t have to burn the roads as much.

We met up with him at the Terrace at Marion Square for some food and drinks. Charlie came with his roommate and his roommate’s girlfriend. The names were Quaker and Colleen I believe. They were both delightfully nice and fun to boot. Ben’s roommate Sean was there too. The sentiments are the same for him. There were other people there, but I cannot remember their names. We finished up the crappy dinner and left the place of bad service for A.C.’s. This is a nice bar with a Columbia-like atmosphere on upper King Street. There we had some beers, tequila, and shared memories about the good ole days at USC. There obviously aren’t any highlights really. One lowlight though, was the revelation of the LCD screen being broken on my camera. :-( That makes me a sad panda. The camera is still under warranty though, so I’m going to see if anything can be done. That’s about it. Oh yeah, if you didn’t know, the guy at the top is Ben and the guy above this tidbit is Charlie.
